Jammu and Kashmir has voted in a new Assembly after a gap of 10 years, and for the first time as a Union Territory.
The results, announced on October 8, saw the National Conference sailing to power, and Omar Abdullah is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister.

The state Legislative Assembly has 90 seats, with five of the MLAs being nominated by the Lieutenant Governor.
