Sini Shetty from Karnataka crowned Femina Miss India World 2022


Sini Shetty from Karnataka, was on Sunday (July 3), announced the winner of Femina Miss India World 2022, at the Grand Finale of VLCC Femina Miss India 2022 in Mumbai. The 21-year-old, Sini, was crowned by her successor, Femina Miss India 2020, Manasa Varanasi from Telangana during the event, which took place at Mumbai’s Jio Convention Centre.

Sini, who is currently pursuing a course in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), will now represent the country at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Femina Miss India 2022 Runner-up

Rubal Shekhawat from Rajasthan, was crowned Femina Miss India 2022 first runner-up, while Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh was crowned Femina Miss India 2022 second runner up.

The jury for the event was actor Neha Dhupia, Dino Morea, Malaika Arora, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, choreographer Shiamak Davar and former cricketer Mithali Raj.

Neha Dhupia, former Femina Miss India Universe, said during the event, the journey of Femina Miss India brings back “memories of the priceless experiences I’ve had with this pageant”.

“It’s almost like reliving every moment of my journey with these young glamorous girls, who are so full of enthusiasm and capability to take on the world with power and elegance,” she added, according to a report in NDTV.

Femina Miss India 2022 Grand Finale which will be telecasted on Colors TV channel, on July 17, saw performances by Kriti Sanon and Lauren Gottlieb. Manish Paul was the event’s host.

VLCC Femina Miss India 2022 was co-powered by Sephora, Moj and Rajnigandha Pearls.
