Lok Sabha polls second phase: Tripura highest, UP lowest; here is the state-wise breakup
Polling was relatively low; intense heatwave being attributed as the main reason
Over 63 percent polling was reported in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, covering 88 seats across 13 states. .
Election Commission data showed the highest voting percentage was recorded in Tripura which registered 79.58 percent polling, followed by Manipur at 77.95 while the turnout was in Uttar Pradesh at 54.85 percent.
