CBSE-2025 Class 10, Class 12 results to be out soon: Here’s how to check

This year, around 24.12 lakh Class 10 students appeared for exams in 84 subjects, and about 17.88 lakh Class 12 students wrote papers in 120 subjects


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 10 and 12 board results for 2025 between May 12 and May 15.

The exams were conducted from February 15 to April 4, with the Class 10 exams concluding on March 18 and Class 12 exams ending on April 4.

Over 42 lakh students appeared for the exams at over 7,800 centres across the country and abroad.

Biggest school exam evaluation

Once released, students who participated in the exams can access their results on the official websites: cbse.digitallocker.gov.in, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.

Going by previous years, CBSE usually releases results four to six weeks after the last paper. Results were typically declared in mid-May, indicating a similar timeline this year.

Once released, students who wrote the exams can access their results on these official websites:

DigiLocker access

CBSE has partnered with DigiLocker to make academic documents digitally available immediately after result declaration. These documents are authenticated by CBSE and legally valid.

DigiLocker is a secure, cloud-based document storage platform under the Digital India initiative. CBSE marksheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates are uploaded here.

The result details are securely stored under the student’s Aadhaar-linked profile, making it easily downloadable and shareable for college admissions or job applications.

Steps to access results using DigiLocker

Log in using Aadhaar or mobile number or user name. First-time users must create an account and set a PIN

Search “CBSE Results 2025” under the 'Issued Documents' section

Enter CBSE roll number, school number, admit card ID, and the six-digit access PIN shared by the school

View/download your digital marksheets and certificates

UMANG app

Students can also use the UMANG app, which is a government service platform, to access their results.

Log in or register using your mobile number

Search for ‘CBSE’ services

Select Class 10 or 12 Results 2025

Enter your roll number, date of birth, and other details

View or download your result

IVRS method

Students without internet can use use IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) to access their results via a phone call.

Steps to access results using IVRS

Dial 24300699 (prefix with local STD code, e.g., 011 for Delhi)

Follow the voice instructions

Enter roll number, school number, and date of birth

Your subject-wise marks will be read out

All digital documents are legally valid under the IT Act, 2000. In case of discrepancies, students are advised to verify that the roll number, school number, and admit card ID are entered correctly.
