KARNATAKA: Three former CMs Kumaraswamy, Basavaraj Bommai and Jagadish Shettar leading


Contrary to what exit polls predicted, the BJP-JD(S) alliance is unlikely to cross the 20-seat mark as Congress is leading in 9 of the 28 seats in Karnataka.

All three former chief ministers—H D Kumaraswamy, Basavaraj Bommai, and Jagadeesh Shettar of the NDA—are leading in Mandya, Haveri, and Belagavi. Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi is leading in the Dharwad constituency.

Interestingly, JD(S) is maintaining a big lead in the fourth round in Mandya and Kolar.
