MP: Union ministers faring well, except for Kulaste
Union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste was trailing behind his nearest Congress rival Chansingh Barkade by 11,560 votes from Niwas constituency in Madhya Pradesh, as per the EC.
The other Union Ministers fielded in MP Assembly elections to fight anti-incumbency sentiment against the BJP are faring well in their constituencies.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who landed in controversy over his son featuring in video leaks talking about cash transactions is leading by 3,700 votes in Dimani. Union Minister Prahlad Patel has a lead of 6,521 votes in Narsinghpur, in the Mahakoshal region.
BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya is also leading by 19,940 votes in the Indore-1 Assembly constituency.
