World championships bronze medalist Nishant Dev secured a victory by defeating Vietnam's Phuoc Tung Bui in the men's 71kg round of 16 boxing bout at the Asian Games 2023. The 22-year-old Indian boxer advanced to the quarter-finals in just one minute and 38 seconds. Nishant Dev is set to face Sewonrets Quincy Mensah Okazawa in the next round on September 30 at 6:30 PM IST, with a chance to earn a spot in the semi-finals.
