Tanwar returned to his bowling run-up and ran in to bowl the free hit, which yet again was a no ball and the batters ran two runs. The over continued as he next bowled a wide and the free hit remained. Finally, the over came to an end with the ball again dispatched for a six, for a total of 18 off just 1 delivery.

Chennai Super Gillies posted 217/5 in 20 overs and in reply, Salem Spartans were restricted to 165/9 in 20 overs.
