With rain playing spoilsport in today’s India vs New Zealand match in Nottingham, cricket fans aren’t sure if the match will take place at all. The inspection of the field will take place after which a decision would be taken whether to go ahead with the toss and begin the match or not.

With the Kiwis on top of the table and both the countries not conceding a single defeat, this is expected to be a stunner for all cricket fans.

New Zealand has defeated Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh — all underdogs — while India has clinched victory against South Africa and the mighty Australia.

India has suffered a major blow during its match versus Australia with one of its top batsman Shikhar Dhawan ruled out for three weeks due to a thumb injury. KL Rahul is expected to replace Dhawan as opener and Vijay Shankar and Dinesh Karthik are to enter at No 4.
