Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone left fans in shock when she deleted all her posts on Instagram and Twitter on the night of December 31. She had, however, posted an ‘audio diary’, which she said is a record of her thoughts and feelings. In it, she said that though 2020 was a year of uncertainty for everybody, it was a time of ‘gratitude’ for her, adding that she hoped that 2021 would bring ‘good health and peace of mind’ to herself and to others.

Deepika’s Instagram stories and Twitter likes are, however, still visible.

Deepika uploaded a temporary display picture, which put to rest any speculation that her account has been hacked–something that has happened with some celebrity accounts.
