"January 22, 2024 is not merely a date but marks advent of a new era", says PM Narendra Modi in Ayodhya after Ram temple consecration ceremony.

"The Congress people are also the disciples of Lord Ram, it is not just BJP who are the disciples of Lord Ram," says Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah.

"Today in Ayodhya, along with Ram Lalla, India's pride has also returned. Today's event has become a symbol that a 'naya Bharat', which will provide relief to the world from tragedies, will definitely come up," says RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat after Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

"Lord Ram's devotees across the world are excited as the Pran Pratishtha ceremony (in Ayodhya) has successfully concluded. The wait of 500 years has finally ended and it is a day to remember those who sacrificed their lives for the construction of temple," Union Minister Smriti Irani tells PTI.

"The entire world - especially Ayodhya - is elated at this historic moment. This generation - especially those who became a part of this (construction of Ram Temple) - is really blessed to witness this moment," says UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

"There are some feelings in my heart that I cannot find words to express. Everyone is emotional and happy. On this historic moment, every city and village in the country has turned into Ayodhya, and every path seems to be heading towards the Ram Janmabhoomi," says UP CM.
