Early trends indicate that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, or KCR, is trailing in both Kamareddy and Gajwel constituencies.
Will win Chhattisgarh polls, says Raman Singh
Even as early counting trends showed the Congress in the lead, former chief minister Raman Singh insisted on Sunday that the BJP was poised to win the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections.
“Darkness is abating, the sun has arisen, lotus is going to bloom,” he said in a post on X in Hindi, referring to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election symbol, the lotus.
“All workers must remain committed to the counting process because the BJP is going to win very soon,” he added.
