'J&K chose ballot over bullets during LS elections'

J&K chose ballot over bullets during the recent Lok Sabha elections, said Rajiv Kumar.

The EC began the press conference at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi to announce dates for Assembly polls. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar said  EC officials recently visited Haryana and J&K ahead of elections.

They witnessed wide interest among the people to participate in the elections, he said.
