Rhea Singha of Gujarat was crowned Miss Universe India 2024 at a glittering event in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Sunday (September 22).
The 19-year-old beat 51 finalists to be crowned Miss Universe India 2024. She will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico in November.
Pranjal Priya took home the first runner-up title, while Chhavi Verg was the second runner-up at the pageant.
Who is Rhea Singha?
Rhea seems to wear many a hat with elan. She is a model, actor, and an undergraduate student of performing arts. At the same time, she is an experienced TEDx speaker and aspiring entrepreneur. She is a budding fashion designer too.
According to Miss Universe India, Rhea is the Ambassador at Large of GLS University. Her initiative, Work Ready with Rhea, is aimed at upskilling the youth.
Rhea is also self-declared fitness enthusiast and “chooses foods that are not only healthy but also compassionate”.
Pageants performance
Rhea started her modelling career when she was 16 and won the title of Miss Teen Gujarat. In 2023, she represented India in the Miss Teen Universe competition held in Madrid. She was among the top six and won the Miss Teen Asia and Miss Teen Earth titles.
She finished as a runner-up in JOY Times Fresh Face Season 14 in Mumbai last year.
