Claiming that “God has sent me”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the energy he has is not biological but bestowed upon him by the almighty.

Modi’s comments came in one of TV interviews recently and the video of this has since gone viral on social media and has received hundreds of comments from X (formerly Twitter) users.

During his interview with News18, Modi said, “When my mother was alive, I used to believe that I was born biologically. After she passed away, upon reflecting on all my experiences, I was convinced that God has sent me.”

“This energy could not be from my biological body but was bestowed upon me by God. I believe God has given me abilities, inspiration, and good intentions for a purpose. I am nothing but an instrument. That’s why, whenever I do anything, I believe God is guiding me,” he added, speaking in Hindi.

The question posed by the journalist was about Modi’s energy, comparing him to his Lok Sabha poll campaigns in 2019 and now. The interviewer said she felt Modi has “more energy” in 2024 when compared to five years ago. To this, Modi claimed that his energy is all because of the almighty.
