Squash: Malaysia beat Indian women's team

Indian squash players Joshana Chinappa, Tanvi Khanna, and Anahat Singh faced defeats in their matches during the women's team tie against Malaysia at the Asian Games 2023.

Joshana Chinappa lost her match 11-6, 11-2, 11-8 against Sivasangari Subramaniam, while Tanvi Khanna went through a five-game battle against Aifa Binti Azman, eventually losing. Despite Anahat Singh's efforts in the third game, Malaysian player Rachel Arnold won the final match 14-12, resulting in a 3-0 victory for Malaysia.

This loss marked India's first defeat in women's team squash Pool B, while Malaysia remained undefeated, winning all five of their group ties.
