Jaismine Lamboria advances to the quarterfinals in boxing

Jaismine Lamboria secured a spot in the women's 60kg quarterfinals by defeating Saudi Arabia's Hadeel Ghazwan Ashour when the referee stopped the contest in the second round. She earned a perfect 10 in round 1. In the quarter-finals on October 1 at 12:30 PM IST, Jaismine will face DPR Korea's Ungyong Won. Winning this match will not only secure her a medal at the Asian Games but also guarantee a women's 60kg Olympic quota for India. Lamboria is a Commonwealth Games 2022 bronze medalist.
