Karnataka is going to vote in a new Assembly on May 10, with the results coming out on May 13.

There is a lot at stake for both the BJP and the Congress. The BJP is keen to retain its hold over Karnataka, which is its only foothold south of Vindhyas. For the Congress, it’s a chance to reestablish its political might ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
