RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat says Hindu gurus in South India do more than missionaries

Services Hindu spiritual gurus have provided in the southern states of India are much more than that those done by Christian missionaries, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Friday (April 7).

Addressing a Rashtriya Seva Sangam event of the RSS in Jaipur, Bhagwat said: “Service leads to the formation of a healthy society. If any section of the society is deprived, it has to be lifted for the betterment of the country.

“Generally, intellectuals mention (Christian) missionaries for their service. But the services provided by Hindu spiritual gurus in the southern states are more than that done by the missionaries,” the RSS leader said.
