Upon verification of her credentials, the authorities found out that the aspirant had scored low marks in NEET and so wasn’t called for counselling. They also discovered that the aspirant had forged her scorecard. The discrepancy came to light when it was discovered that the original candidate, whose identity was forged by the aspirant, had opted for a medical seat.

A case has been registered against the father-daughter duo with the Periamet police station by the authorities. The father is said to be a dentist from Ramanathapuram district.
