COVID-19: Tamil Nadu reports second positive case, patient from Delhi

The patient hails from Delhi and is kept in isolation at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai

The state health officials are trying to find out how the youth would have contracted the disease.
Days after Tamil Nadu heaved a sigh of relief as the first patient infected by coronavirus tested negative, the state on Wednesday (March 18) reported the second positive case.
State Health Minister C. Vijayabaskar, in a tweet, confirmed this and said the patient hailed from Delhi. He has been discharged after treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai. He will be on home quarantine for two weeks.

The minister said the patient was stable and under observation of experts. Reports said the patient, a native of Kancheepuram, came from Muscat via Delhi.
