A Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on Monday (December 2) said the Delhi government has maintained a revenue surplus over the last five years. This comes despite the several welfare schemes run by the government in national capital.

The audit report on state finances, which was tabled in the Delhi assembly on Monday, noted that tax revenue and non-tax revenue also registered an increase of 14.70% and 101.05% respectively over the previous year.
