2 J&K cops killed in terrorist attack, 3 injured

Two policemen of Jammu and Kashmir were killed and three were injured on Friday (August 14) after terrorists attacked their convoy in Nowgam area on the outskirts of Srinagar, police said.

“Terrorists fired indiscriminately upon police party near Nowgam Bypass. 3 police personnel injured. They were shifted to hospital for treatment where 2 of them attained martyrdom. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” tweeted Kashmir Zone Police.
