Mandate 2019: NDA crosses 300; Modi says 'India wins again'

With most of the votes counted, it looks certain that the BJP-led NDA is all set to return to  power with a thumping majority. The BJP did well by not only retaining seats it won in 2014 but also picked up seats in West Bengal and Odisha to offset  the losses incurred in Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Modi too tweeted in the aftermath of the victory

“Together we grow.

Together we prosper.

Together we will build a strong and inclusive India.

India wins yet again!”

Congratulatory messages have begun pouring in for Prime Minister Modi from all corners.
