'That's what I do'. On Biden campaign trail, Obama impresses with basketball


Former president of US has proved himself to be a good statesman. He has now proved that he is equally good in basketball.

While on a campaign trail for Democratic Party’s presidential campaign Joe Biden on Saturday (October 29), he score a three-pointer on a basketball court at a high school gym in Flint, Michigan, a video captured during the event showed. After netting the ball, to shouts of ‘woah!’, Obama lowered his face mask  and said: “That’s what I do!” amid claps from all around.

Obama shared the video on his official Twitter account. The 20-second video, shot by Biden’s traveling digital director Olivia Rainer, has been viewed over six million times.

Netizens were impressed with the video. @Women4Biden tweeted: “So this was absolutely insane”. In reply to @Women4Biden’s tweet, @XU_USN wrote:” I was in Kuwait when he paid a visit to us in the base gym. Did the exact same thing!”

According to a CNN report, Obama played JV and varsity basketball at Hawaii’s Punahou School. But he kept up his passion for basketball throughout his political career and even during his time in the White House.
