Silver futures drop on subdued demand

Silver futures on Thursday dropped Rs 211 to Rs 62,330 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for the December delivery tumbled by Rs 211, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 62,330 per kg in a business turnover of 13,353 lots.

Silver traded lower 0.73 per cent at USD 24.09 per ounce in New York.
