West Bengal

BJP protested in front of West Bengal Chief Electoral Office after Amit Shah was denied permission to hold rally and land a chopper in Jadavpur. Sunil Deodhar said, “Police, administration, DM Ratnakar Rao have become ‘dalal’ of TMC. EC is being partial and doing ‘dalali’ of TMC.”

Madhya Pradesh

Congress General Secretary for UP (East), Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, paid tribute to former prime minister Indira Gandhi in Indore.


Rahul Gandhi termed Sam Pitroda’s ‘Hua to hua’ remark as shameful, says guilty of anti-Sikh riots will be punished.

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Mayawati’s remark on PM: “Absolutely disappointing and shocking for her to speak so ill about PM and his personal life, and women in the BJP. Behen Mayawati, please be assured we’re all absolutely safe, secure and have good professional relationships in our party.”

Tamil Nadu

Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader and Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, met Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam President MK Stalin at the latter’s residence.


BJP wrote to Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer against Congress leader DK Shivakumar alleging that he has camped at Kundagola and has been distributing cash to the voters and leaders.

Himachal Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally in Solan.


Navjot Singh Sidhu’s office: “Navjot Singh Sidhu put on steroid medication and injections due to continuous speech damaging his vocal cords. At the moment Mr Sidhu is under the medication and in process of a quick recovery to return-back to campaigning at the earliest.”
