Mangaluru teen packs friend in suitcase to smuggle him into apartment

In a bizarre incident, a teenaged student in Karnataka’s Mangaluru was caught while trying to smuggle his friend into his apartment by stuffing him inside a suitcase, after his apartment association barred the entry of visitors into the campus due to the coronavirus situation.

His efforts, however, turned futile as he raised the suspicion of neighbours who saw him dragging the huge suitcase into the building.

They made him open the suitcase and were shocked to see his friend inside.

Residents immediately called up the police, who took the duo to the station. Parents of both the boys were also summoned for questioning.

However, no case was registered as the boys were minors.
