Cancer can be cured by cleaning, lying in cowshed: UP minister Gangwar
The BJP leader also claimed that stroking a cow’s back can lower one’s blood pressure, and burning cow dung cakes can keep away mosquitoes
In a statement that challenges science and reason, Uttar Pradesh minister Sanjay Singh Gangwar has claimed that cancer patients can be cured if they lie down in a cowshed and clean the shed, and that stroking a cow’s back can lower one’s blood pressure.
The BJP leader made these statements while inaugurating the Kanha Gaushala in Nougawa Pakadiya in UP in a report by HT.

He also said that burning cow dung cakes can keep away mosquitoes.
“If there is a blood pressure patient, there are cows here. The person should stroke a cow on its back every morning and evening and serve it. If the person is taking a 20 mg dose of blood pressure medicine, it will come down to 10 mg within 10 days,” the BJP minister told the people gathered there.
Gangwar continued, “If a cancer patient starts cleaning a cowshed and lying there, even cancer can be cured. If you burn cow dung cakes, you get relief from mosquitoes. Everything that a cow produces is useful in some way.”
