Haryana YouTuber 'kills' husband with lover's help; dumps body in drain
Police said Ravina and her lover strangled Praveen after he caught them together in a compromising position. They dumped his body in a drain; CCTV footage exposed the crime
In yet another shocking case, a man was allegedly murdered by his wife and her lover after he discovered their affair in Haryana’s Bhiwani district.

Social media obsession
Ravina, a social media influencer from Haryana’s Bhimani district, had a growing presence on Instagram and YouTube.
Her content, mostly comic family videos, gained her over 34,000 followers on Instagram and more than 5,000 subscribers on YouTube. But this pursuit of digital fame came at the cost of her real family life.
Married to Praveen since 2017 and a mother to a six-year-old son, Ravina’s relationship with her husband had become strained, particularly due to her busy schedule as a content creator and frequent travel for shoots.
Praveen, who worked as a driver at a sand and gravel shop, struggled with alcohol addiction. He and Ravina frequently argued about her activity on social media.

Deadly affair
About 18 months ago, Ravina reportedly connected with fellow YouTuber Suresh from Hisar’s Premnagar village via Instagram.
Their bond soon grew into an affair. On March 25, at the couple's Bhiwani home, Praveen reportedly caught them in a compromising position.
A heated argument ensued. Later that night, Ravina and Suresh allegedly choked Praveen to death using her 'dupatta'.
Body disposal plot
In an attempt to erase all traces of their crime, Ravina pretended to be normal throughout the day. When relatives asked her where Praveen was, she said she did not know.
The couple waited till 2:30 am and placed Praveen’s body between them on Suresh’s bike. They rode about 6 km and dumped Praveen’s body in a drain on Dinod Road, outside Bhiwani.

CCTV cracks case
Three days later, Praveen’s decomposed body was found during a search operation. CCTV footage showed Ravina and Suresh on a bike carrying what appeared to be a body.
The footage also revealed them returning without it. The evidence led police to intensify their investigation.
During an extensive interrogation, Ravina confessed to the murder. She has been remanded to judicial custody, while the police continue their search for her absconding lover, Suresh.
