Hello and welcome to the live coverage of Assembly election results of four states – Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana. The counting of votes has begun at 8 am.
The Federal brings you all the results of these four State Assemblies, live. Mizoram Assembly poll results too were to be declared today but have been deferred by a day. The Election Commission (EC) received several representations from various quarters requesting for change in the date of counting with Sunday being of special significance for the people of Mizoram. Total seats in each state – Chhattisgarh (90), Madhya Pradesh (230), Rajasthan (199), Telangana (119).

We will form govt in MP with absolute majority: BJP leader Scindia
Union Minister and BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia: "We knew that as far as Madhya Pradesh is concerned, given the public welfare schemes of our double engine government - people's blessings will be with us... I am confident that their blessings will be with the BJP and we will form the government with absolute majority."

Vasundhara Raje leading
BJP leader Vasundhara Raje is leading in Rajasthan's Jhalrapatan assembly seat with 7,025 votes against her Congress rival Ramlal Chouhan, according to the Election Commission website.
The former chief minister has got 13,213 votes so far, while Chouhan has got 6,188, the website showed.
