Hello and welcome to the live coverage of Assembly election results of four states – Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana. The counting of votes has begun at 8 am.
The Federal brings you all the results of these four State Assemblies, live. Mizoram Assembly poll results too were to be declared today but have been deferred by a day. The Election Commission (EC) received several representations from various quarters requesting for change in the date of counting with Sunday being of special significance for the people of Mizoram. Total seats in each state – Chhattisgarh (90), Madhya Pradesh (230), Rajasthan (199), Telangana (119).

Will win Chhattisgarh polls, says Raman Singh
Even as early counting trends showed the Congress in the lead, former chief minister Raman Singh insisted on Sunday that the BJP was poised to win the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections.
“Darkness is abating, the sun has arisen, lotus is going to bloom,” he said in a post on X in Hindi, referring to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election symbol, the lotus.
“All workers must remain committed to the counting process because the BJP is going to win very soon,” he added.
