X suspends Iran supreme leader Khamenei’s account in Hebrew

A note on his X account says, ‘Account suspended. X suspends accounts which violate the X rules’


The social media platform X on Monday (October 28) suspended the Hebrew-language account of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for posting an “anti-Israel” tweet.

The account was suspended just two days after the handle @Khamenei_Heb was created.

Khamenei’s post on X

Khamenei posted on his account on Saturday (October 26), “The Zionist regime made a mistake. It erred in its calculations on Iran. We will cause it to understand what kind of strength, ability, initiative, and will the Iranian nation has.”

The post by Iran’s top leader came after Israel’s attack on military sites in Iran that resulted in the deaths of four Iranian soldiers. The attack was in retaliation for Iran launching about 200 missiles at Israel on October 1. After the missile attack, Israel had warned Iran that it would respond at a time and place of its choosing.

Suspension of account

A note on his X account says, “Account suspended. X suspends accounts which violate the X rules.”

The social media platform has strict rules regarding threatening and inflammatory content. There was no immediate comment from X about the suspension of the account.
