
JEE Advanced 2026 results: Shubham Kumar tops national ranking with 330 marks
JEE Advanced 2026 results announced. Shubham Kumar secured AIR 1 with 330 marks as IIT Delhi zone swept the top three ranks
The results of JEE Advanced 2026 were declared on Monday (June 1), with Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone occupying the top slot in the Common Rank List (CRL). He secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 after scoring 330 marks out of 360.
Delhi zone sweeps top ranks
Candidates from the IIT Delhi zone claimed the top three positions in the examination. Shubham Kumar secured the first rank with 330 marks, while Kabeer Chhillar followed closely in second place with 329 marks. Jatin Chahar secured the third position with 319 marks.

The IIT Delhi zone had a strong presence among the highest scorers, with four candidates featuring in the top 10 of the Common Rank List. The IIT Madras zone contributed three candidates to the top 10, while the IIT Bombay zone had two candidates in the list.
Mohit Shekher Shukla from the IIT Madras zone secured the fourth rank with 319 marks. Another candidate from the same zone, Kuchi Sandeep, secured the fifth rank with 318 marks, reported the Times of India.
Who are the female toppers
Arohi Deshpande from the IIT Delhi zone emerged as the highest-ranked female candidate in the examination. She scored 280 out of 360 and secured a CRL of 77.

Other leading female candidates included Korukonda Sravya from the IIT Madras zone, who secured CRL 111. Sanvi Patidar from IIT Bombay secured CRL 158, while Reddi Sai Sahithi from IIT Bhubaneswar obtained CRL 230. Aashi from IIT Roorkee secured CRL 781, Anushka Agrawal from IIT Kanpur secured CRL 859, and Agrima Singh from IIT Guwahati secured CRL 1857.
Participation and qualification numbers
A total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2026. Out of these, 1,79,694 candidates appeared for both papers of the examination. Overall, 56,880 candidates qualified for inclusion in the various rank lists.

Among the candidates who appeared, 1,39,131 were male, and 40,562 were female. The number of qualified male candidates stood at 46,773, while 10,107 female candidates successfully cleared the examination.
JoSAA counselling next
Prof. Kamal Kishore Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee and Chairman of the Joint Admission Board (JAB), said: “All qualified candidates are encouraged to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counselling and seat-allocation process, irrespective of their Class XII (or equivalent) marks.”
“However, the final admission shall remain subject to the fulfilment of the percentage-related eligibility requirements and other applicable conditions prescribed in the JEE (Advanced) 2026 Information Brochure,” he added.
