Patel tweeted that he had said earlier too the Congress party works to hurt the sentiments of the people, always trying to damage the faith of the Hindu religion.

Further, he questioned the Congress and its leaders asking them what enmity they had against Lord Shri Ram? “Why hate Hindus so much? After centuries, a temple of Lord Shri Ram is also being built in Ayodhya, yet the leaders of Congress keep making statements against Lord Ram,” he added in his tweet.

Patel had resigned from the party claiming the Gujarat Congress leaders were not concerned to address real issues of the state. The Gujarat Assembly elections are slated to be held this year. According to Patel, Congress was more focussed on ensuring the leaders who visited Gujarat from Delhi got their “chicken sandwich” on time.

Also, he accused Gujarat Congress leaders of trying to disrupt his political effort “sitting in the AC chambers”.
