A 26-year-old software engineer from Nalgonda in Telangana, was shot in the head inside his vehicle by an unidentified killer in Baltimore city of Maryland state in the United States early on Sunday (June 22). Employed in Baltimore for the last two years, Nakka Sai Charan was returning home after dropping his friend at the airport.
According to news reports, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police (MDTA), had got information about a single-vehicle collision at the Caton Avenue exit of Interstate 95, which is the main north-south interstate highway on the East Coast, at 4.32 am on Sunday.

They reached the spot to find Sai Charan injured inside the 2022 silver Hyundai Tucson. He was taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where the doctors found that Charan had a gunshot wound to the head. A statement issued by MDTA said that he died soon after, said a news report.
According to The Baltimore Sun, an American newspaper, the incident occurred on Sunday morning when a 40-year-old man Trevor White and Nakka Sai Charan were killed when an assailant opened fire. Charan, the son of a retired school teacher, had moved to the United States four years ago for his post-graduation, after which, he starting working for a firm in Baltimore. His sister is also a student in the US.
His family back in Nalgonda was informed about the tragic incident by Charan’s friends. 26
