AMMK member Kalairajan joins DMK in the presence of Stalin

Former district secretary of AMMK VP Kalairajan has joined DMK in the presence of the party president MK Stalin.

Kalairajan who joined the DMK in Trichy, said he is ready to double up and work for the party. Though defection of MLAs and MPs switching camps is common during the election season, it would be interesting to see what effect his switching loyalty would mean to both the DMK and the AMMK.

Speaking at the event, MK Stalin said that he does not consider any party as his rival. He also said that he expects many more people, cutting across party lines, to join the DMK.
