A three-year old girl was found dead with injuries all over her body and head early on Monday (May 27), police said.
Passersby noticed the body lying in a roadside bush and informed the police. Three special police teams have been formed to trace the perpetrators of the crime.
Investigations have begun to find out whether it was a case of murder or a hit-and-run incident, even as the girls mother has been detained for questioning, the police said. The body has been sent to the government hospital for an autopsy.
