Gruha Jyoti Scheme: How to apply; link, other details here

The registration process for Karnataka government’s Gruha Jyoti Scheme has begun today (Sunday, June 18).

As per the department’s statement, consumers who exceed the 200 units limit will be required to pay their electricity bills in full. The Gruha Jyoti scheme is scheduled to be officially launched on August 1, 2023. Starting from that date, eligible beneficiaries will receive ‘zero bill’ if their electricity usage remains within their entitled limit, specifically for the electricity consumed in July.

To avail benefits of the Gruha Jyoti scheme, consumers must register through a dedicated page created for the scheme on the Seva Sindhu portal.
