Goa CM hails Ayodhya verdict as 'historic', Congress calls for peace
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday (November 9) termed the Supreme Court verdict that paved way for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya as "historic" and appealed for peace and harmony.

He said that the unanimous verdict of the top court must be accepted by all and people should work towards strengthening of brotherhood among various communities.
Meanwhile, the Congress too called for maintaining peace and harmony. Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Digamber Kamat said the party welcomes and respects the verdict.
