22 injured in Chandrababu Naidu’s roadshow; 1 dies in Jagan’s rally
22 people were injured during Chandrababu Naidu’s roadshow in Anantpur in Andhra Pradesh on March 27. An ANI report said people were trying to climb a building for a better view when a wall collapsed and the debris fell on those who were standing below. Police began rescue operations immediately and sent those injured to hospitals nearby.
Meanwhile, In YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s public rally at Mandapeta town, an old building that could not bear the weight of the people in it collapsed, killing one and injuring nearly 50 people. The injured were taken to the government hospitals in Mandapeta and Kakinada.
Minister Paritala Sunita visited the injured in the hospital, extended financial aid who have been critically injured in Naidu’s rally.
