A pilot was killed after the four-seater trainer aircraft he was flying crashed near Kushwapurawa village of Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh on Monday (September 21).

Police said the aircraft, used for training pilots, lost height all of a sudden and crashed into a field around 11.30 am.

The aircraft belonged to the Centre-run flying-training institute Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Akademi (IGRUA), located in Amethi, the sources said.
