It was a pleasant Saturday morning in the national capital following rainfall on Friday, as the minimum temperature settled at 22.4°C, two notches below the season’s average.
The humidity was recorded at 57 per cent at 8.30 a.m., said a MeT department official.
The Safdarjung observatory, recording of which is considered the official figure for the city, recorded 4.2 mm rainfall till 8.30 a.m.
The Met office has forecast mainly clear skies along with strong surface winds for the day ahead. The maximum temperature is likely to hover at 39°C. On Friday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 39.5 and 24.8°C, respectively.
