Minutes after former Team India skipper MS Dhoni announced his retirement on Instagram on Saturday (August 15), his teammate Suresh Raina said he’d join him in his journey.

Like Dhoni, he too took to the photo sharing app to make the announcement: “It was nothing but lovely playing with you @mahi7781 (MS Dhoni). With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind.”

Raina has not only been Dhoni’s teammate in Team India, but also the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Both the cricketers had arrived in Chennai on Friday for a training camp ahead of the IPL in UAE.
