England opener Jason Roy has been ruled out of the match against Australia on Tuesday (June 25), failing to recover from injury.
Roy who missed the last two matches due to a hamstring tear was suggested a second scan for the same. It was later announced that his return against the Australians is unlikely.
Looking at his progress in recovery, he appeared at the training sessions, however, the team’s head coach Trevor Bayliss is not keen on including the batsman until he is fully fit to play.

This gives another chance to James Vince to prove himself as a fair replacement for the hitman. Jason Roy scored a half-century in the World Cup opener against South Africa and a massive 153 against Bangladesh, both of which England won.
England’s defeat against Sri Lanka was a shock to the cricket fanatics which Roy missed.
