During the weekly meetings where general public can approach the district collector and file petitions and grievance, he said that he will abduct Sindhu and marry her if necessary arrangements for the holy union are not made.
Malaisamy walked into the collectorate office with a letter expressing his interest to marry the athlete along with two photographs of himself and the shuttler.
The petitioner also claimed that in reality he is just a 16-year-old boy born on April 4, 2004 and wants to make Sindhu his life partner since he was absolutely impressed by her career growth.
