Speaking to The Federal for a podcast, Dr. A. Velumani, a biotechnologist and founder-chairperson of Thyrocare, said that after just 15 days of testing, their company understood that the country had a positivity rate of 15%, which was “a pleasant surprise”. He added that the positivity rate currently stood at 26%.
