Twitter 'finds' ABVP men amid police team assaulting anti-CAA protesters
Social media, on Tuesday (December 17), was awash with photos of ‘wanton’ youths who reportedly snuck into the police contingent deployed at Jamia Millia university to tackle anti-Citizenship Act protestors.
Many twitter users said the youths were not policemen and were wearing jeans and sneakers and wielding lathis.

A man, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, was ‘identified’ by a twitter user as Bharat Sharma, a Law student of Delhi University and a state executive committee member of the ABVP. He was seen kicking a protestor.

Meanwhile, former Supreme Court Judge Markandeya Katju also tweeted out a photo asking if ‘someone’ could tell him who the man wielding a lathi on a group of protestors was.
Can anyone tell me who is this man in civil dress, with his face hidden, beating the students of Jamia, along with the police?? pic.twitter.com/1MmGukxeHB
