Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar is hailed as “Power” by his fans. James was the actor’s last film before he died on October 29, 2021. Puneeth suffered a heart attack and breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Now, latest reports suggest that Puneeth Rajkumar’s last film James will hit cinemas on his birth anniversary on March 17, 2022.

Kannada superstar Puneeth’s death was a shock to his family members, friends, celebrities and fans across the country. He was 46 years old and was considered one of the fittest actors in the Kannada film industry.

Reports suggest that the makers are planning to release Puneeth’s last film, James, in cinemas on his first birth anniversary, March 17, 2022. The makers announced that they will release a special poster on January 26 at 11.11 am. Director Chethan Kumar shared the announcement and wrote, “#Bolobolojames (sic).”

To honour the late actor, celebrities and distributors in the Kannada film industry have decided to let James have a solo release. No new Kannada films will release in the state for a week. This means James will have a solo release from March 17 to March 23.

James is an action entertainer directed by Chethan Kumar. The film features Priya Anand, Meka Srikanth and Anu Prabhakar Mukherjee in supporting roles. Reportedly, James will also feature Puneeth’s elder brothers, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar in cameo roles.
