Neeraj Bawana gang warns of revenge on Moosewala’s killers in two days

The Neeraj Bawana gang has apparently vowed revenge on those who gunned down the Punjabi singer-rapper-politician Sidhu Moosewala. Moosewala was killed in Punjab on Sunday, a murder the police say was the result of gang rivalry.

On Wednesday, a Facebook page associated with Bawana — currently in Delhi jail — expressed grief over Moosewala’s death and warned, “… will give a result in two days”; the post did not elaborate on the nature of the ‘result’. “Sidhu Moosewala was heart, brother. Will give a result in two days,” the post read.

Bawana’s aides breathe fire

Bawana is among Delhi’s top gangsters and is widely believed to run his criminal network, comprising extortion and contract killings, from behind bars, reports Hindustan Times.

The Facebook post also mentioned the names of Tillu Takpuria and the Koushal Gurgaon and Davinder Bhambia gangs — all reportedly aides of Neeraj Bawana.

There’s yet another Facebook post in which the Davinder Bambiha gang — also an associate of Neeraj Bawana — vowed similar revenge against Moosewala’s killers. In the post, the group also accused another Punjabi singer, Mankirt Aulakh, of being involved in the murder.

Bishnoi being interrogated

Two gangsters — Lawrence Bishnoi, currently in Delhi’s Tihar Jail — and Canada-based singer- gangster Goldy Brar have claimed responsibility for the killing.

Delhi Police on Tuesday got five-day custody of Bishnoi in connection with an old case and they reportedly intend to interrogate him about the Moosewala killing in addition to that case, reports Hindustan Times.

A day ago, a lower court rejected a petition from Bishnoi regarding fears he may be killed by authorities during a fake encounter.

Police have arrested one person so far in the Moosewala murder case. The Punjab police arrested Manpreet Singh from Uttarakhand and has sent him to five-day police remand.

Thousands gathered to at Sidhu Moosewala’s cremation on Tuesday in his native village in Punjab’s Mansa district.
